LavaLove

EACH FLAVOUR IS UNIQUE TO THE REGION IT HAILS FROM

Harvested on the Pacific coast of Guatemala. LavaLove is the result of various local farmers who preserve their Criollo cacao trees and look after their cacao plantations organically (without chemical fertilizers).

Grown in the foothills of the volcanoes of Atitlan and Tolimán, in the villages of Suchitepequez, Cerro de las flores. The aroma of LavaLove cacao is soft in the mouth, with floral notes and powerful earthy flavours in the end.

Each on of the LavaLove cacao beans are roasted and hand-peeled, by indigenous families.

LavaLove production is aligned with respect for the environment, including roasting, grinding and biodegradable packaging. Even the shells from the peeled beans are used to fertilise.

ABOUT

BLISS CEREMONIAL CACAO

Dive into the heart of tradition and connection with Bliss Cacao, where ancient wisdom meets modern passion. Our commitment revolves around sourcing the most exceptional ceremonial cacao, nurturing its heritage, and sharing its profound wonders.

Our journey began with a quest for authenticity, uncovering the unprocessed gem of Bliss cacao nestled within the lush Guatemalan rainforests. Sourced exclusively from isolated organic farmers, this cacao is a testament to nature's untainted essence.

Indulge in the diverse flavours that Bliss Cacao offers, a result of the region, climate, and soil where it thrives. Our cacao presents you with the opportunity to embark on a sensory adventure, allowing you to choose the origin of your medicinal delight, each telling a unique story of the forest.

Cultivated on farmer owned lands, every batch of cacao undergoes a meticulous journey from careful fermentation and sun drying to delicate toasting. This artisanal process guarantees unparalleled quality control. The art of hand peeling, carried out by our women's collectives, ensures that each bean is in its prime state. Traceability takes centre stage as every product is linked to a singular origin.

Our cacao hails from three distinct regions: the Pacific-front Suchitepequez, the central north Alta Verapaz, and the Caribbean-front Izabal.

We are proud to collaborate with Mayan food forest communities, cultivating rare cacao strains for ancient Theobroma trees while adhering to rigorous standards of quality, organic practices and fair wages. These small organic farmers and women's collectives embody the essence of sustainability.

The essence of each ceremonial cacao batch remains unblended, preserving the distinctive aromas, attributes, and narratives of each region. With every sip, you become a part of their journey, fostering a profound connection between grower and consumer.
